Event Description

Interactive displays, workshops, Competitions & activities! Celebrating Southland’s home harvest.

23 & 24 March 2013

10am-4pm

Aparima College Hall

Workshops on a wide variety of topics $7.50 each or 4 for $25; making cider, preserving food, jam-making, saving seeds, wine-making, setting up an orchard, beginning a vege garden, flax weaving, and starting with bees, willow basket making, attracting insects to your garden, harvesting old woollies, localising food, natural bee-keeping, making soft cheeses, creative ways to use herbs for gifts, natures pharmacy, and intro to biodynamics.

Heritage Harvest Potluck Feast Saturday night

Book a fundraising stall with a harvest theme only $10 day.

Bring along your best or most interesting fruit & vegetables for the display or just come to look & learn.
