Come and participate in an inspirational course in an inspirational place. This 3 week course allows more time to explore the design principles of permaculture and learn how to apply them to your land and your life.
The course covers the standard 2-week international Permaculture Design Certificate curriculum, taught in an integrated hands-on way, culminating in several land-use design projects. The themes of deep ecology, community building and eco-village development will weave throughout our time of practical permaculture learning, which in-cludes integrated orchard/animal design, mixed species forestry, microclimates for optimum organic food production, natural building, and design for sustainable social systems. Tui Community is a 25 year old, 40 member, rural residential community situated on 150 acres in beautiful Golden Bay.
Cost (related to income/financial means):
New Zealand participants: $ 1800/1600/1400
Overseas participants: $ 1800/1700/1600
Includes: tuition, accommodation, field trips, manual, food.
