So what does all of the fuss about becoming a Super-city have to do with sustainability?
Permaculture has a huge role to play in shaping the conversation on bioregional and urban sustainability here in Auckland. Using local and international examples we will explore how permaculture principles, systems thinking and ecological design have been applied to day to day urban sustainability. We will look at tools, technologies and perspectives that have empowered resilient, regenerative communities to 're-design' their own futures today.
...and Finn Mackesy is the guy to take us there--
An educator, facilitator and community development worker, the co-founder of Auckland Permaculture Workshop, All Good Education and the founder/director of GORSE. Finn's passion is supporting the development and implementation of projects that promote effective social and ecological design solutions, land stewardship, community development and bioregional resilience in Aotearoa New Zealand.
