Hey everyone,

I expect to be active here again, with this page and this group.

Are there particular things that any of you want, in terms of permaculture things in Christchurch?

Hi all

I just found this web site and would love to participate in your group. Is it still going?

I'm free this Sunday morning... Who's it going to be?

I now have a funeral to attend on Sat 24th so that's not going to work! Another time!

Our garden would be very keen to have some helping hands! I have lots of trays and seeds we can plant and a glasshouse to keep the trays warm. Does Saturday 24th September suit anyone? We're at 27 Hooker Ave in Bryndwr. Otherwise I am keen to help out someone else so long as it's not assessment week for my course!

Who wants to do something, somewhere, sometime? I propose going around to somebody's house and giving them a spring kick start. Who wants a bunch of us to turn up at their house with tools on a specified day?

Free adobe building workshop & seminar - Sun 8 May, Tue 10 May - Christchurch

Please forward this to other people in your networks too.

It's planned to be on this Sunday daytime (hands-on workshop), and Tuesday evening (seminar with a slideshow). (Sunday 8 May, Tuesday 10 May.)

Feel free to inform others about this, esp those who may want to rebuild (temporarily or permanently) with this technique.

And please inform me or post on the Wall of the Facebook page (the link is above) if you can help with providing the necessary materials (clay, sand, newspapers, cement, drill bit for mixing paint & a drill, buckets, sturdy 20L paint buckets).

He (Philip) is putting it on free for us here in Chchch, so we need to provide the materials for the workshop, if we want it to be a practical workshop.

Bring gloves, gumboots, and notebooks.

Bring lunch, and afternoon tea; food to share with everyone (potluck style) is good.

Is on rain or shine; it's likely to be shining tomorrow; we have an indoor area that we can use if it's wet or cold outside.

This is a great opportunity for us to learn about thissimple and effective building technique. Very opportune for us here in Christchurch now.

Hi Tim

A good idea - potluck lunch today, 1pm.

I plan to be there, and I'll have one or two others with me.

I'll bring an umbrella, and gumboots.

If anyone reads this before Saturday afternoon, feel free to drop by for lunch :) We're at 27 Hooker Ave Off Clyde Road near Greers Rd. Let's say 1pm potluck lunch, bring anyone who's hungry plus anything from your garden or otherwise, maybe anything you have too much of to swap as well? It's looking like an average wintery day, not too cold but not a sunny one either but that'll be ok for brief forays into the great expanse beyond the back door. Look forward to meeting you :)
