Enjoying all the flowers at the moment, and loving the colour in the salads.

sure , but will have to stop gobbling up the flowers, i have found breaking up the clumps and transplanting works not sure how they would travel thru the post but we could try.

mustard flowers are edible, just as all the other brassica flowers are, I use them scattered into a salad, our sprouting broccoli flowers were particularly sweet. Bees adore them too, so I always let some go to seed. Lilac flower wine, now that sounds exotic!

I've planted the climbing bean 'Painted Lady' this year as its flowers are edible. (Not ready yet).
Also bought Mexican Mint in June and it's starting to grow - its flowers are edible.
In Dunedin recently I met someone who is making wine out of lilac flowers.
I have mustard in flower - are those flowers edible?

Found an interesting book at my local library:'The Edible Flower Garden' by Rosalind Creasy. Has pages of edible flowers - all tested by her, plus growing ideas and recipes. I love her many nasturtium varieties...
