Repurposing Old Satellite Dishes and Antennas!

Talk about a fast evolution! Satellite dishes use to take up major garden space just so we could watch t.v. If your down to a smaller sized dish you may be thinking what to do with the big one. Here's so good ideas to try out.

Gazebo!

These can really come in handy where you plan your hot tub area.

Plan on multi use by letting it become a garden trellis.

If you happen to have some of those old antennas around they make wonderful trellises and supports for garden bird houses.

  • We have someone in the area who is a ham radio operator. He has just put some pretty bright lights on his tower that seems to be in a festive mood. I must get a picture of it for you.
I want an old satellite dish now. Even though I have years worth of garden projects on my mind now. The new ones are just little and can't be used for anything beyond perhaps a bird bath. Ours hit the recycle bin.
    • The small one's do make good birdbaths, you might try mosaic on them.

      Or a clock!

    • Oh Yay! I can mosaic them when I do my bowling balls! LOL
