No smell n or specific taste with the leaves.

looks a little like the chia I have growing which has just developed  blue flowers like that

Could be flax.  We have some growing out the front where the chicken last were.  I google imaged flax and it looks like this.  As in flax seeds.

Yes...those flowers look the same....but not the conventional chia flower shape.

The flower is more of a spear shape like a lavender flower. Chia has more of a round shape flower.

It is not a linseed  nor flax flower.

yes thanks.. the seeds developed on mine and They are definitely chia.  Some other sprouted seeds I threw out for the chooks.  Sorry bout that.

I didn't get any viable seed from  mine, I think it got cold too early for it to fully develop
