Hi Guys, Does anyone know if the mushroom factory in Morrinsville is still active. B'cos if it is, they used to sell mushroom growing packs and sometimes we were able to and get some of the soil they used which still had spores in it......

Hi there, I've got plenty of seed to swap too.
A local community centre or The Environment Centre may make some space available for a swap meet?

I have loads of seeds too, maybe we should arrange a swap meet like Isa suggested... any ideas about when/where?

Is anyone interested in some seeds? I've got heaps of kale, red cabbage, winter lettuce, silverbeet, peas, beans, carrots, herbs etc. Also some kale and borage seedlings coming through and I've got some small maori potatoes left from planting.

I've noticed there is a lot of activity on ooooby lately. Most of it seems to be in Auckland and other places. Is anyone interested in doing something in Hamilton? It would be fantastic to have an ooooby stall at the farmer's market or even some kind of swap-meet thing

Thanks Meg! massive compost pile in place now, hoping to add spores in 3-4 weeks and two weeks later hope to see baby mushrooms poking out!

I don't know much about mushroom spores, but I have been looking because a friend of mine has a house that backs onto a gully. I came up with and Please let me know if you have any success - or not!
