Comment by Katie Isaacs on August 31, 2012 at 9:43pm Hey guys, I won't be able to make it this week unfortunately but it looks like it'll be a beautiful day! Does anyone have any info on that organic vege scheme that used to be part of the Wellington CSA?
Comment by Lillian on August 30, 2012 at 6:44pm Thanks Lynsey! Love this TED link! She's very witty :)
Comment by Lynsey Ferrari on August 29, 2012 at 6:17pm I was sitting in the sun at the S.G. this afternoon, reading. A neighbour dropped in some kitchen waste for compost, Ella Fitzgerald's wonderful voice was wafting over the neighbourhood, a friendly cat stopped by and every living thing was rejoicing...except maybe the mice.
Yay, Can't wait!
Comment by Lillian on August 29, 2012 at 2:31pm Gardening this Sunday! Looks like it'll be perfect weather for it, light cloud :) Meet 2pm outside Aro Valley Community Centre. All welcome!
Comment by Lynsey Ferrari on August 27, 2012 at 7:53pm Here's an inspiring TED Talk from Pam Warhurst, who promotes Edible Landscapes. She asks "Can you find a unifying language that cuts across age & income & culture; that will help people themselves find a new way of living, see spaces around them differently, think about every resource they use differently...?

Comment by Lillian on August 9, 2012 at 10:07am Potluck on Monday 6.45pm at Lynsey's house - all welcome! Sharing yummy food and good conversation, and a bit of a chat about how the gardens are going and what tasks are coming up with spring.
Comment by Lillian on July 26, 2012 at 10:39am This Sunday's looking like a stunner. Keen for a spot of gardening? Meet at 2pm Sunday outside the Aro Valley Community Centre in Aro Park. Lots to harvest too!
Comment by Lynsey Ferrari on July 15, 2012 at 12:35pm Kia ora gardeners, If it's still raining at 2 pm and just too awful for gardening come to my place for a cuppa and a garden chat. I'll be here until approx 3.15 pm. Jamie & I put in a couple of hours at Secret garden last weekend when the weather was much more congenial, so it's not desperate for a clean-up.
