Working bee in the organic Tahitian Lime orchard in Waimauku. I have contacte dthe owner and she is amazed and pleased at our offer to help. She says the possums have taken to the orchard and eaten all buds and remaining fruit. I would like to organise for us to clear the bramble and cut back the pine tree branches and do some pruning on Saturday 17th Septemeber. We could meet at my house in Browns Bay at 8:30am and car pool from there or meet out there. I would love to get help from those that have chain saws and pruning equipment. Please let me know if you can help. You could also email me at pickfruit@xtra.co.nz. Thanks
Those people that would like to have a peach tree... There are 6 available and need to be organised to be collected from Greenlane next weekend.
Contact me please if you would like the details of the tree owner to organise to collect them.
