Yep, that is a good day for me - no horse shows.  See you then.  Sorry I forgot about the peach trees and the wandering jew.  Everytime I remembered I was on my way to somewhere else.  I gotta slow down.  Now i'm in the garden getting all those lovely veges planted.  I put in winter spuds and murray (husband) warned me they would just rot, well I had a very poor crop of them in numbers so won't be doing that again in a hurry.  I can't wait for my cherry trees to flower, my peacherine tree is covered in blossom so hoping there will be lots of fruit.  See yáll soon. .

Kia ora all. Sorry I have been a little distracted recently. How about we do our next get together on Saturday 29th October at 2pm. Our place is 7 Mallard Place, Unsworth Heights. Bring a plate with something from your Garden. Weather permitting we will open the hives for those interested.

Could anyone help me by doing a quote to install a sprinkler system for the small orchard of 12 fruit trees at our local Church community garden? I would appreciate some help this week with a quote if possible.
Thanks.

Working bee in the organic Tahitian Lime orchard in Waimauku. I have contacte dthe owner and she is amazed and pleased at our offer to help. She says the possums have taken to the orchard and eaten all buds and remaining fruit. I would like to organise for us to clear the bramble and cut back the pine tree branches and do some pruning on Saturday 17th Septemeber. We could meet at my house in Browns Bay  at 8:30am and car pool from there or meet out there. I would love to get help from those that have chain saws and pruning equipment. Please let me know if you can help. You could also email me at pickfruit@xtra.co.nz. Thanks

I have got the peach trees at work with me now and I will take them home tonight. If you want one give us a call or txt (022 0662963) and you can pick it up from Unsworth Heights.

Those people that would like to have a peach tree... There are 6 available and need to be organised to be collected from Greenlane next weekend.

Contact me please if you would like the details of the tree owner to organise to collect them.

Hi Di,  that's fine. The pruning is often done at the same time as picking - about now - with each lime being cut from the tree with secateurs and any dead wood cut out then too - in case you need to start without me ! ( I'm not available weekend 27 28 Aug ).
