toppled Lemon tree

help! Tuesday/Wednesday's storm toppled our lemon tree, which I'm guessing is 80-90 years old. It has keeled over rather than breaking, and all the roots are still beneath the surface, although very spongy feeling on the upwind side.

 

What can we do to try and rescue it? I am guessing that a decent pruning will help it survive by reducing the demand on the root system.

Soryy to hear about your beautiful lemon tree falling over, however, have you thught about trying something in the Bonsai direction? I see opportunity to try something beautiful and creative.
