I have lots of Cape gooseberry seedlings which will be weeded out next weekend. If you want some and can collect them this week, you'd be more than welcome.
I also have tagasaste seedlings if anyone wants some.
After a few requests from people in various groups that I am associated with, I'm offering a visit to our life sentence block. We are not great permaculturists, nor properly organic. We just want to live a good life, eating as much home-grown food as we can. You can see how we have muddled along over the years and the mistakes we have made. Suggestions are welcome. We have gardens and orchards; chooks, ducks, goats and bees; we have a ram pump that supplies water from the top of the waterfall in our stream for toilet and garden. We have lots of glow worms too, but you'll have to visit at night to see those! So if you are interested, here's the details:
Saturday 23 February
Meet here at noon, for a 12.30 shared lunch.
While we are eating I'll tell you a bit about the place, and then we'll go for an explore.
Bring:
I have sent emails inviting people from the Whaingaroa Bee Club, Hamilton Permaculture Trust, my PDC group, and HOGS.
I would like people to rsvp please - and if you don't know where I live I guess you'll have to, to get instructions! email callybrownatgmaildotcom
