  • Hi

I am currently compiling a list of all individuals or groups in the Albert Eden Local Board area involved in sustainable activities.
I wish to contact each of them  and will also be profiling some groups and individuals in short articles about their activity.

    Here's how you can help:
Please contact me with the names of groups or individuals or activities which may include:

gardening, fruit trees, local food, chickens
transport action, car pooling or cycling groups
Courses or classes in living sustainably
Businesses and Business associations with a sustainable or community focus in some part
Ethnic, faith based or other community groups including sustainable activities in their programmes
Neighbourhood networks - street level activity , bbqs or pot luck dinners, face book pages
Arts or crafts focusing on recycled materials or living sustainably
Schools/ preschools or children's activities with gardening or sustainable focus
and there must be so much more

I would love to hear from you

  • The garden visit at my garden (Jan Young) is at 11am on Sunday 25th November.

  • Hi all,

Time to start garden visits again. This month (November)  we've been invited to Jan Young's at 80 Taylor's Rd Mt Albert (just round the corner from St Lukes).

Jan's garden has an interesting history, having been developed over the years by members of Tree-Crops Assoc, Denis Greville - who lived there for some time - and more recently by Jan herself. Some interesting specimens. See you there,

  • Cool. maybe some members might be interested in this  https://ooooby.ning.com/group/well-being-basics  as a chill out every now and again.
