Organic greens

hi,

I have just moved here from Waiheke Island and am trying to source great organic greens from local farmers/growers I use lots as I do lots of juicing. Any information on the organic world in Tauranga would be awesome. Thanks in advance for any wisdom, information and direction.

    Hello Tammy, Welcome to the Bay of Plenty.

    We have more greens than we can use,  all biodynamically grown.  We are up at Whakamarama, where are you?  Also, maybe you'd like top grow some of your own?  I teach an Organic Horticulture class, on Tuesdays, in Tauranga, you could start after Easter.  0221 895 3590 if you want to chat.  Ruth

      Hello Tammy, Jane here. sorry I missed you today. I do bags of greens that people pick up through the week. They contain around 20 - 30 garden and wild edible flowers and greens. Don't hesitate to call me if you have any culturing questions.

      Thats awesome! I will purchase some when I pick up my kombucha scoby and kefir grains, let me know when a time works for you :)

      Tomorrow any time is fine. Saturday we are away. I always pick first thing in the morning.
