  • Hi Lee,
I am part of Love To Live Charity and we have a kid who's dream it is to have a garden. We have $500 to spend for her to make this happen but I need an expert! would you be keen to be involved? It would mean coming to her house and making a plan of where to put it, and then helping plant. And then being happy to come pop back each month for a couple of months to check on how things are going. You can give me call on 021 671 584 if you can and we can talk further. Thanks! Heidi

  • No worries. I just sent a txt. let me know when next suits

  • ahhhh have somehow deleted your text/phone number and can;t find out where you live to come round tonight. kids are a bit of a mission tonight anyway.... next time!

  • Hi, I am keen to have a look, we want to put a hive on to our place and am just starting to learn about it, are you around during the week?

  • We have just built a top bar hive, and as our Langstroth hive swarmed earler in the week, we were able to put a hive in it straight away. Very cool weekend. If anyine is interested in taking a look, please let me know.
  • our new chickens are laying now and we have eggs over most weeks. Please let me know if your interested in buying some free range, fresh local eggs... mmm yummo, and very few food miles :)

  • Hi, is anyone keen on a seed swap? I have heaps of half packets of seeds left over this season that are best in someones garden and I could do with a few more varieties, Let me know if interested and we can make a meeting point

Project Freestore - redistrubute surplus

Project Freestore  398 Great North rd was set up to redistrubute surplus food items and produce free of charge and will operate for a month - until Friday 11 March. Supply can't keep up with demand - there are a lot of struggling families out there. So any surplus vegetables or fruit would be really welcomed and can be dropped at Project Freestore  preferably between 9am- 3pm or collection could be arranged (if large amounts) ph Lou Lennane - 021 245 1454
