Hi Oooobyites, pretty quiet on here lately. Below I have posted Litsa's details on the Waitakere New Energy Fare at Titirangi this Sunday, I am going to make it this time, and will be bringing along some hessian bag seconds (potato, onion, bulb, garlic etc.) to swap or give away, as well as some plants (need to get on with some more potting). I will be there until 12.45pm so if anyone would like to man the swap stall until 3pm, that would be great. Check out the neat workshops below, and remember that the Farmers Market also runs at this time.

@ 12.00 – THE ENERGETICS OF MONEY

How many of you believe that money is the answer to all your problems?

Thank you very much Glen and Jenny. We remembereed that Oliver Young who was at the Lucinda Place pruning workshop said he could always deliver mulch - and he did so our paths are well covered now, but it's always good to have other sources. Brooke also put us in touch with Treescape so we've had great response.

Hi Helen... if those two options don't work for you then I could obtain some for you. My brother works at a natural timber workshop which produces lots of sawdust etc.
Comment by Jenny Freewalker on April 9, 2010 at 12:50pm
lf you contacted Brooke at the Sustainable living Centre in New Lynn she may be able to put you on to a source as the street just down fromme that has been planted with fruit trees had a truck load left there for mulch. Other than that l get untreated native tree sawdust from Woodman NZ up Massey way.
