Share 'Good garden centres around Wellington area?'

Hi All,   Classical newbies gardner inquiry: what are the good garden centres around Wellington and where are they?   I'm keen to shop local and stay out of the Mega Stores. We will be buying a goodly number of fruit trees (next season anyway), grasses and perennials and a couple of climbing roses.   I look forward to your collective wisdom..............!     Sally
