These are growing on the western side of the Lakes Hayes walking track well away from any dust and/or pollution from passing traffic.

Comment by Megan on December 28, 2011 at 8:53am No, I'll have to give it a go:) Sycamores grow wild around here so I often use them as climbing poles for my peas & beans.
Comment by Richard Watson on December 28, 2011 at 6:48am Do you know that old Elderberries make great posts in the garden.
Comment by Megan on December 12, 2011 at 9:12pm hello Kelly, how are you, haven't seen you for ages! My recipe is a variation of the one that Isabell posted here, give me a couple of hours and I'll post my version in the discussion. Send me a text over the weekend if you want to meet up to take the dogs for a walk and we can go around Lake Hayes to pick some flowers to make some cordial. Start asking around for screw top bottles - wine bottles will do.
Comment by Kelly Watkinson on December 12, 2011 at 5:57pm oh I love elder berries but have never made elder drinks (had a few though). I would love to get your recipe.
