Am thinking what am I going to do with all these pumpkins.....turn some of them into wine of course! Make lots of fruit wines, and will attempt some pumpkin wine as well methinks!

Impressive crop of pumpkins here! I grew some Queensland Blue for the first time but had problems with pollination early on. Best results I had were from tried and true Whangaparaoa Crown and Waltham Butternut which both produced big crops. Strange season for growing most things this year other than tomatoes as I had amazing yields. Cant wait till next spring.

thanks, I was thrilled with this years crop! still a few immature ones on the vines, not sure how they will go, it depends on when we get our first frosts I guess, been quite a mild autumn so far

that's awesome, I have this variety to grow next year. the season this year was not good for pumpkins here, too wet and cool at pollination time. I grew red kuri but none grew to full size and also marina de chioggia, only two were full size and they were delish but I hope the queensland blue will do better next year
