Surprise! mushrooms

These popped up the day after I watched an amazing video my Paul Stamets on how mushrooms can save the world. http://ooooby.ning.com/video/mushrooms-mycologist-paul

I know they are not the mushrooms Paul is talking about, though they are part of the bigger mycelium family. It was just an unexpected delight, and I have never seen them before in the garden, so it was doubly delightful they should appear today!
