Sub-alpine Gardening!

Got my first ever garlic cloves planted, hopefully not too late, but got it on good advice that in the sub-alpine climate here that we have at least another 3mths of frosts ahead, even thought it is uncharacteristically mild at present.



The mild weather has allowed some early vege bed preparation, seem to have quite a heavy growth of chickweed, but few other weeds. Have put on well rotted sheep manure, and more top soil to raise the soil up a little, have done the same in the… Continue
