I was speaking with Pete Russell tonight, and he suggested you may be the man to point me in the right direction....
i have my finger in many different pies, as well as being a founder of this site with Pete, I have supported the growth of Transition Towns in NZ, run a video blog, do a lot of local food resilience work here on Waiheke, and sell some electric bikes that a friend imports, to earn a little income.
I would like to help the wisper bikes people setup a site that by-design can create an opportunity for people to contribute knowledge and ideas about bike design and information about bike maintenance, that can be used by many.
I am aware of Wiki's and Ning sites as options, but wonder what else may be around that might serve the need, and be easy forr users to contribute to and get information from. I have experience and training in online facilitation, and am tending in the direction of a ning site (or similar) because of the social aspect and ease of use.
Any ideas or links to tools that may be of help would be hugely appreciated.
Hey Charlie. We're going to use the Huddersfield group for keeping in touch with Ooooby-versity from here on. I've put an Ooooby-versity forum in there. There are more people on that group and it keeps it simpler. So join up and then we'll delete the Ooooby-versity group.
