Lovely to hear from you and many thanks for your offer. I'd love some advise on keeping hens. Haven't got them yet as wanted to feel confident first in looking after them. A gardening buddy sounds nice too. There was a great network up in AKL and I was missing that a bit in Levin. Am at the moment on Stewart Island but will get back in touch with you once I am back (not sure how my garden is doing in my absence ...hope it is raining in Levin so that the garden gets some water).
