"These are Rengarenga lily....in pre-european times they were cultivated for there fleshy tuberous root which is apparently edible though I've never tried them. give it a go and let me know haha :)

Tell us about your garden and what you're growing
I've started quietly with pots of herbs, salads, carrots, courgettes, capsicum, baby beetroot and strawberries on the deck, and I'm amazed by how well they've grown, and how good it's made me feel having that connection with something we're eating. Plus the worm farm's going strong... I haven't really got a clue what I'm doing but that means I'm constantly learning huge amounts!
