I'm following up on Charmaine's posting yesterday about the Innermost workshops. I have just heard there are still some spaces in the seed saving workshop which is being held this Sunday afternoon (13 March) from 1pm to…"
"Sounds great Nikolien. I need first to take a trip to the rubbish dump to empty all the trash out of the back of the ute. I'll be in contact once I have done that. I've got some old compost bags and sacks which I will bring. Be in touch."

"I'm interested in getting some horse manure for my garden. It has been fallow for a number of years and is very low on organic matter. I live in Mount Vic and can pick up the manure from where ever is convenient."

I have a small inner city garden that is intensively gardened with veges and herbs. I also have just started to look after a large garden that had once been spectacular but not been cultivated for some years. I have always wanted a large vege garden but never had the land or opportunity so really enjoying this.

What time of day suits you best -my children are at school during the day, or I can be available at the weekend - you will have to LITERALLY pick it up though - the horses are in Chrtwell - on the way to the WIlton Substation - I have akey to the gate, so you can meet me at the gate, drive down to where the horses are, and collect the manure....I recommend using rubber gloves - hands work well in conjunction with a shovel - the most effictent method is to have a reccling plastic bok ( or similar) - line it with a sturdy plastic bag ( or I still have some left over horse feed bags that you could have) fill that with manuae, unload the bag into your car, then grab another bag, and repeat.... or if you have access to a trailer, that could work, although the paddock is very wet at the moment, so there are limited turning areas unless you have a four wheel drive - if we have a few days of sun, it's easier - Sunday morning could work, or next week, or the following weekend....let me know what suits.....or ring 934 9171...cheerio!
