Megan said… Hello Matt, the white one with the crest on her head is very pretty!
Hester said… You're right. The black hen should settle down. They tend to cackle when they think they are lost or have lost their buddies : )
Hester said… Hi Matt-I think I spelt warratah wrong. I didn't mean the plant. They are a type of metal post that is easy to push into the ground and have slots that you can attach netting to. They are good for making portable fences. Probably availiable from farm supply places.
Beautiful garden Matt. Thanks for all the help on Wednesday. Rosemary
Catherine Orr said… Nope you don't need to bring anything except your gumboots. I'll let Rosemary know that you'll most likely be coming. There are usually muffins and coffee at morning tea for the hard workers!
Catherine Orr said… Hi Matt, that will be great. I hope I'll be there this Wednesday - I've had to give the last two weeks a miss because work has cropped up that I couldn't move. It's in the Mercy Parklands grounds. If you go in and down to the right, it's kind of in the bottom right corner of the property. 8.30am - 12.30pm. See you there! Cheers, Catherine
Thanks very much for the tomato plants Matt...people are enjoying taking them home for their gardens. Christine and Vortex BD Community Garden.
Megan said… my sweet peas must have heard me complaining about their lack of flowers - made a closer inspection this morning and there are signs of buds forming :)
Megan said… I am so envious, my sweet peas are way behind yours - they're about a foot tall and no signs of any flowers yet. Don't you just love the scent? All my lily of the valley are in full flower and smell divine.
