"Not sure about parahebe but the one I eat is hebe stricta or koromiko which grows to 3 metres in the bush. The part I chew on is the young shoots or leaves before they open up."

"The plant would be great as I don't really have the time for seeds to grow. Plants want to replace Wandering Willie as ground cover. At least you can eat it. Working over your way next friday. Are you home during the day."

just noticed that you're not for from me (Whangarei) and we now have a Whangarei Vegan social group. As we're both in the Raw Vegans group I thought you might be interested in coming to one of our potlucks. They are not exclusively raw but are vegan. Some members of WhangareiVegans live in Waipu which also might be of interest to you.
