Tell us about your garden and what you're growing
We have a small urban garden fuelled by chicken and worm power. After two years the soil is now mighty and the veges fair spring out of it. To increase the garden area we started up planter boxes onto which I attached casters, so that I can move them out of the way when friends want to watch the sun go down from the deck, or to follow the sun....

there was a composter here when we bought the place, so we've been adding kitchen scraps to it. chicken poo sounds quite interesting. would make a good addition i'm sure. :) i've toyed with the idea of keeping a few chooks myself, but am nervous about not having enough space and about the mess they make. i'd love your view on that if don't mind sharing your experiences. we taking a beekeeping class at the moment at unitec and are hoping to start keeping bees sometime soon.
Nice to meet you, too. This weekend we are planning a vege bed. Our rental last year had a great functioning bed and it was pretty easy to get it going. Our new house needs a vege garden started from scratch! We are new to this, so any advice would be great! :)
