"Hi Mick...I will be pruning my shrubs  a little later on. If you don't mind waiting, I could send some cuttings around April?  I am in Kawerau, but I got some of my stock by cuttings thru the mail, so it can be done."

Hi Teeli I have just recently joined and am also on a small section (in Napier) and cram in as much edibles as I can.  I also grow elderberrys and have been making a fantastic tonic with it for about 10 years. Do you have the shrub type or the very tall type?  I got my first crop of blackcurrants this season so have  been making them into a tonic for winter.  I enjoy making herbals and other tonics especially for winter, and also anything else the family needs.  I make jams and preserves and am always keen to hear about any plants recommended either to preserve or make medicinals from.  Happy gardening!
