We are growing two gorgeous future adults. Currently Paul does a lot of the vege growing as I attend the house & cooking chores. We have 3 Chooks, Chilli's, Baby Fig, Citrus, Feijoa & Pomegranate tree's, grow fresh sprouts, micro greens in our kitchen, loads more
I have been thinking of these little creatures a lot this week with it being "Bee Week" in New Zealand and all. It is our first "Bee Week" and unfortunately there has been very little publicity for it, mainly scattered over the news websites. Now I wonder how that is going to reach everyone? It's good to hear that the frost doesn't affect your hens.
The boys loved their eggs, the yolks were such a lovely rich yellow.
Our five chooks are all youngsters and Zebra is the first to lay.
We can't wait for the others to follow her example.
