thanks Joni, just called them and spoke to a charming gentleman (most probably Dieter, he had a European accent :-) ) who has one tree that he's grown from seed (planted 12 years ago) that he described as "spindly". From what I've read, it will be another 3 years before his tree bears fruit! Unfortunately, he doesn' have any seedlings & not aware of anyone growing them in NZ.
