Well, as you might have read we have been overseas for a while and expected to miss the winter. No way! It is supposed to be spring, tra-la, but last weekend two of the main highways were closed with snow and only an hour or so from us there were 600 people trapped in their cars overnight on the road from Taupo to Napier. We did not get the snow here but the bursting grapebuds have been hit with frost. Didn't think to cover them. I have planted beans, peas and corn all under frost cloth but they have probably drowned with all the rain!
We have grandchildren living with us. Our daughter, too. The children are now 12 and 9. Sadly not much interested in gardening but they do love digging for potatoes!
Hi! How's it going?
I guess you are hunkering down for winter. What's your little girls name?
Do you grow over winter?

Hello, I love the glasses. Must mean that you garden in a sunny spot.
Mulberries, mmmm. Are they hard to collect? How do you eat/drink them?
Love to hear from you!
