Ooooby Market Stall a Booming Success!!

What a day it was. Vince and the GLFM team did an amazing job of launching the Grey Lynn Farmers Market on Sunday.

The crowds swarmed around the Community Centre for 4 hours and just about wiped out every stall holders lot.

The Ooooby Stall was no exception. Fionna, Kate, James and I were kept busy selling homegrown produce from local gardens. Grey Lynn gardeners were jubilant about seeing their surplus turn into cash right in front of their eyes.

The concept for the Ooooby Stall is brand new so we weren't sure how it would go. We started the day with blank tables, then the produce started showing up, then the customers showed up, then the produce was sold and we were left once again with blank tables and big smiles on our faces. Can't wait for next Sunday to do it all over again.
