At the end of the day Christy delivers any unsold perishables from the Ooooby Stall to the Auckland City Mission where it is turned into wholesome soups and salads.

Thanks Emily,

I was thinking of Myers Park, a little away from traffic pollution. Lucky dudes digging holes at Bastion Point.

Jude, I believe that some of the City Mission's clients work on a vege garden at Orakei Marae at Bastion Point. And from what I've heard, they love it. It would be great if there was a more central space where City Mission staff, clients and other members of the public could work together in a garden.

I love your enthusiasm Jude. And yes, I agree, gardening is indeed a true panacea.

Wouldn't it be great if the recipients of the wholesome meals, were given the use of a local park, tools, seeds, water retention system and whatever help they need to become part of a success story.

Just imagine the excitement, the networking, the sense of achievement.

Gardening is the cure for everything.

I must try harder to overstock the stall.
