So, my parsley has been decimated by caterpillars. And my carrot tops... I haven't really grown parsley before, but this year I had a great little patch going. Now I have stalks.
I took great delight in feeding the caterpillars to our turtles.

I have my brassicas covered with nets because I'm used to the green caterpillars that eat them; but these other caterpillars are a new pest problem that I haven't encountered in my short garden life. Hopefully it will be too cold for them soon and the parsley will come away again...

We live in an area with a high wasp population. Although we squash and poison as many as possible they have been wonderful at cleaning up the caterpillars

I'm hearing you too. My brassicas have been eaten down to stalks by the caterpillers of the white cabbage butterfly. I have started using an organic spray called No caterpillers, it has btk in it . It seems to be working well. You can buy it at any hardware store or garden centre.
