Wood Ash
Does anyone know where I can purchase wood ash in the Auckland area? I'm wanting some for my veg garden.

What got me thinking about wood ash was this information about using urine as a fertiliser for tomatoes (and more) but they mixed it with wood ash to keep the ph from getting too acidic... http://www.permaculture.org.nz/node/315 Its a great idea to use urine as fertiliser and as for keeping the ph up surely dolamite would do as an alternative?
