Sarah: I dont use hay, I use dry grass clippings. Also I talked with a guy who do lawn mowing around, and he drops his grass clippings at home, then I put the grass clippings on milk trays until is dry.
If it is urgent, you can put shredded papers until you have the dry grass.
On the other hand, I remember that I bought chickens to eat the slugs, as they didnt work chickens went into the coop, so they are doing weeding and I put ducks.
The ducks eat more broccolis and cabages and pak choi than all the slugs together.
So, how can I do what I read in the books that the ducks are good to eat pests.
