Hi Jo. That's what I want to use it for. Can I come by on Friday to have a look and possibly take some? I would also love to see you garden. I am available all day so you pick a time. Thanks!

Hi Jo
I will try and track it down foryou,
leave the flowers there untill they start to dry off, a paper bag over it when it is dead and just before the birds dive in is a good idea.

Feel free to give me a call.

Hi Jo. No worries. I've sorted out a good tour. But! I'm sure your garden would have been a beautiful component. All gardeners think their garden is messy or unfinished....that's probably because gardens are always in transition. Anyway, I would still love to come see your garden and there might be a couple others here at EcoMatters who would like to join me if that's ok. I hope you enjoy EcoDay. We are in a mad frenzy here putting it together. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Enjoy!

we have a 14months old boy who comes along to meetings and would love some company. feel free to bring a snack or dinner with for your child as it is very relaxed and social. we have plenty of entertainment for that age at our place and my wife could keep the children occupied while we talk gardening. we hope to see you at the next meeting in july.

Hi, you can use a peice of old carpet out on the ground where you want a worm farm, I found the conventional worm farms to heavy to lift! a peice of old carpet cut to the size you want much lighter to lift to add daily food craps and way way cheapier means you can spend more on plants!

good on you copmil, sounds like you are another keen gardener. There are a number of worm farms out there on the market, and worms for sale. I got my farm from the warehouse beleive it or not! and the worms from someone in Te Atatu. I had a bit of trial and error and found the most crucial point was location. they don't want to get too wet, and neither do they like being cooked in the sun.
