Hi : Re : freezing feijoas for winemaking. Yes, we always freeze, as when water freezes, it expands 10%, rupturing the cell structure, making juice extraction easier, and more efficient. Will soon trial some green walnuts, for Nocino. Cheers, Dennis.

Hi Mark
I`m sure there would be the interest around Rotorua and districts including Whakatane. I have an Aunt in Whakatane and cousin who is keen so will sound hem out this weekend !
