  Hi there,

  have learnt that not everyone is receiving the ooooby gathering messages I've been sending via this website, for some reason...  so thought I'd better touch base and see if you are getting them, and if not - if you'd like to be in the loop just give me your email address and will fwd them that way ;)

  
  normally there are backyard gatherings the 2nd sat of each month between 10am-12noon, and a great way to share produce and swap seeds etc :)
  
  this month is sustainable backyards month, so we have extra events - we had a stall at the nashi harvest festival at the arty house in tepuna early march, which was fun :)  and a gathering at the mount community garden last wkend. 

  this weekend on sun 16th we'll have an ooooby share table as part of the stalls at they sydenham botanic reserve in otumoetai, 1-4pm.  (hopefully the weather will work out)  and sat the 22nd we'll have an ooooby share table at the envirofest family funday/workshop day at the historic village 10-3pm  ;)

  might try some sunday gatherings from april to see how that suits people and that gathering will probably be at Jane Powel's in Papamoa that month, she's the one who often runs the 'make your own probiotics' and cheesemaking workshops.

  Hi Katherine.  Sorry to reply so late, but yes I would definitely come along if you do organise this.  I have the usual seasonal abundances (purple potatoes anybody?) and it would be good to catch up with everyone who's usually too busy just getting on with it to be sociable.  I shall watch this space.

  Hi Katherine, there are a few kath kathy katherine's in your waihi group, so hopefully I have the right one :)  was it you who was at the permablitz tour day on the 13th july?  was nice to meet you and am just touching base re your soap making :)  if you did feel like having a workshop at all sometime, am happy to help spread the word and scout for interest :)   will keep you in mind if I hear of anyone interested in learning anyway ;)

  Hi Katherine, hope you are enjoying the Ooooby website.  You are always welcome to come along to any of the gatherings in Tauranga if you ever over this way :)  they are generally the 2nd sat of each month, with details on the Tauranga Ooooby group page.  :)
