i am trying to create a garden in the middle of five acrea. I have just planted and orchard and am struggling with how to garden in a green house and in the wind and rain in a new area

    Hi Miranda - welcome to Ooooby. 5 acres! cool! Big job, what sort of garden? The conventional large block with row planting, or smaller beds, raised, low, boxed???? I do square foot gardening in raised beds as I have a back problem and that works really well for me - not just from the point of view of my back, but also I get about 3 times the produce out of the same area you would in a 'row' planting.     hello Miranda, if you click on the word group, it's linked to the page where you can join "growng under glass". At the top of every page, there's a header with the word Groups and you can search by subject to find topics of interest to you.
