  • Hi Steve,

I'd love to buy a Hungry Bin off you. What's the best way to do that?

    Cheers,

    Anna

  • no problem, i will try and remember to keep my phone on:)
  • i have a small worm farm which you can raid for free steve:) Maybe not as many as you need though, but enough to get you started?
  • hi steve - bottom two bags were clay i think, then we did a gap one, then wood chip for the rest. i know they didn't want the wood chip ones to have contact with ground so they didn't wick up moisture. seems to be holding up fine so far... still have raspberries, if the weather stays good hoping to get the rest pruned over the next few days - i'll put some in a bucket for you- let me know when you want to come over, i'm pretty flexible apart from childrearing committments.
  • Hey Steve,

My name is Andrea Ellis and I'm a new ooooby member, I’m in my final year of a 4 year industrial design degree at Massey University.

For our final year each student decides on a problem or an area that they would like to improve on. We then spend the entire year researching and developing this.

For my final year project I want to make sustainable living more achievable for non-property owners. One of the ways in which I believe this could be achieved is a product that allows people to grow their own vegetables without impacting the property and home.

Therefore I am messaging in the hope that you or someone you know who has experience with growing a vegetable garden could spare some time to answer a few questions it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Andrea Ellis
