Overview of Biodynamic practices, using preparations, working with the stars, food for body and mind..

Using a biodynamic calendar and helping you plan your gardening activities in weeks to come,

- What's a "leaf day” or a "fruit day", what is the influence of a descending moon? When is a good day for sowing your tomato seeds? These questions, and more, will be answered. 


Star watching (weather permitting). If the sky is clear, the constellations of Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn will be visible, what should you do in your garden?

Learn from the experts a truly sustainable and holistic approach to organic gardening.

Rachel Pomeroy is a keen gardener and starwatcher.  She compiles the Moon Calendar and gardening notes for "Organic New Zealand" magazine. Rachel is also a tutor in the Certificate in Applied Organics and Biodynamics, offered by Taruna College in Hawkes Bay. 

This workshop is suitable for beginners or more advanced organic gardeners.

Suggested koha, $20 for part 1 evening presentation or $60 for all combined events,(including part 2, all day practical Sunday workshop)
