How to grow biodynamic food in your backyard: setting up a new garden from scratch, enlivening the soil and maintaining soil fertility.
Planning the Biodynamic year; applying preparations, making compost, crop rotation, seed sowing, caring for fruit trees, gardening with the stars.
Saturday practical day workshop: 9 am to 5 p.m. Meeting at Kowhai kindergarten.

Peter Proctor, is a past national field advisor for the New Zealand Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association.
Since then, Peter has taught biodynamics in many countries, particularly, in India. His work and the transformative outcomes of applied Biodynamics is beautifully illustrated in the movie “One Man, One Cow, One Planet”.
Rachel Pomeroy teaches astronomy and use of the planting calendar. She is experienced in making and using the biodynamic preparations.
