We are planning to clear bramble from this neglected Taihitian Lime orchard of about 50 trees.
There are some very long Pine tree branches that need to be cut and cleared from the orchard and the trees need to be pruned.
So bring secateurs, chain saw, wheelbarrows etc.
We enjoyed the working bee and meeting you, steph and family.
I would like to help finish work next time also,
Stephs mums lime juice is delicious.
Stephs Dad has fixed my arm up great.
There is a Simply Gardening Show at the Kumeu Showgrounds tomorrow - so come to the working bee then go to the show afterwards!
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are going.
We can meet in Browns Bay - my house at 8:30am and then carpool or meet at the lime orchard at 9:15am.
There is an opportunity to pick fruit at 2 venues on the way back from the lime orchard.
Is no-one else interested in helping at the working Bee?
Put it in the Group Working Bee Auckland.
I will try to arrange things to go.
I send you a private message.
