A good place to start if you have a technical question, is www.ning.com/help
If you don't find an answer there, or your question relates to some aspect of the Ooooby community then ask it here, and wait a while and someone will get back to you.
If you think you have an answer to someone's question, please DO jump in and help them out.
I am toying with the idea of starting an organic veg gardeners retail cooperative in my area. Has anyone on OOOOBY done this or have any suggestions as to how to go about it?
I have just added 2 new events to the events section. I am a member of a couple of groups and would like to send the event details to them. What is the best way to get the info to them?
Hi Tony - I'm not quite sure if this answers your question, but here goes. If you go to one of the events and then copy the url you can then paste that in a discussion/notice in the group you want to share it with.
Hi ya I'm finding it hard to change my email address can you please direct me where to go? thanks
Maybe you've figured it out but if not here's a link to some help topics that should answer your question.
In the barter threads I have posted twice but each time the comments have disappeared?! Can you please advise?
That's tricky Helen, maybe with some more details about what you're posting and exactly where I might be able to help.
Hi, someone (ESOL) said they were required to provide the email addresses of 10 friends in order to join Ooooby - is this the case? (A lot of the people I am encouraging to join have only been in the country a few months and don't have people they can introduce!)
No this is most definitely not the case.
Hi Kathryn. Anyone can join without having to introduce anyone. Happy days!!
Has anyone successfully embedded a podcast? I've been trying to embed stuff from Radio NZ eg http://www.radionz.co.nz/national/programmes/afternoons/audio/25257... - so using the Media button to paste <iframe src="http://www.radionz.co.nz/audio/remote-player?id=2525710" width="100%" frameborder="0" height="62px"></iframe> or doing this in the HTML mode, but niether seems to work. Any suggestions?
