I have some spare seed of Detroit Dark Red Beetroot, and Bright Lights Beets (like chard)

    perpetual spinach, a milder version of silverbeet, if you plant Nov onward it shouldn't bolt and will grow very large plants if given time before winter.

    also have some yellow stalked silverbeet.  Both saved this year.

      Does yellow stalked silverbeet taste the same as the green?

I can send you some of the beet seeds, along with any of the others you choose from the list I have posted on another thread for you. I can't help you with when to sow or anything like that, as your climate in Greymouth is very different from ours here in Hawkes Bay. Only a local would be able to help you well with that.
