We've moved our garden from the back yard to our 2nd story deck this year to avoid the critter noshing - as we back into the only wooded area left after 3 developments and 1 shopping center went up around us. My youngest has show great joy and interest in the experience, along with meeting other local growers at our Farmers Market. We growing herbs, tomatoes (3 kinds), cucumbers, beets, chard, lettuce, parsley, spinach..the list goes on..
