Sounds nice dinner. Cockles/clams now your talking, I can see one in your pale. Brings back alot of memories cockles do. Hope you can find a few!

Thanks Joe, taking a break in Riverton and collected these at Colac Bay, a ten minute drive from where we're staying. We're allowed 25 per person, more than enough for two meals. Ate half last night with pasta, shelled them raw & sauted with shallots, garlic, chili, white wine & parsley. Met some lovely people while walking the dog this morning and they are going to show us where to collect clams tomorrow morning. Just so happens they are after some milk kefir grains which I've brought with me so Laine's grain have travelled a long way south!
No need to go swimming for the mussels, just wear gum boots and took my weeding tool to prise them out from under the rocks :)

Nice Megan. Get them yourself? Used to go swimming in the seaweed for them in the coromandal. Nothing like supermarket ones...
