It was always a joke between my brothers and sisters and myself. It was from some old space invasion movie. Still doesn't it make more sense now? I like to think of myself as dwelling on the Earth. So I have my feet a bit on steadier ground today. I made a donation to the River Keepers and found a local group to do some volunteer work with. I should at least feel a bit of the powerlessness go. I have alot of learning to do.

off topic I suppose. I was exposed to something that most in the U.S.A. seem to be unaware of . Water issues. I did not even know that we were exporting potable water. I didn't know much if anything beyond where it impacted me. That the well I had before moving back into town contained both viagra and birth control. I conserve, use limited grey water (as it isn't legal here) and have a rain garden. Beyond that I have no idea what I can do about any of this. I am gob smacked. Completely reeling… Continue

So I got some yard work done and a bit of the raised beds assembled. I am hoping that this next week will have some nice days to put some seed in. I worry that anything I am wanting to grow that is spring is going to just be forgone this year. Next year I am going to have some hoop house set up. That should give me a good extended season. are not here. I have dandylions, cherry, and crab apple blossom and no honey bees. I checked the cute little nest I put up for the carpenter bees and I have no one moving in there either, though that could be just that they haven't found it yet.

if anyone has any experience with biodynamic gardening. I have heard some impressive yeild claims, but I don't think I have ever heard much about it.
